We expect the recruitment of new medical Staff to improve our health system - Kwara State

 

Kwara state government has announced the approval of recruiting about 197 medical professionals to improve health service delivery in the state.

The state’s Director-General of the Hospital Management Board Mrs  Sa’ad Aluko  said the approval involved three senior registrars, six pharmacists as well as 13 pharmacy technicians across the state.

Public Relations Officer, Kwara Health Management Board, Halimah Sulu-Gambari, today Sunday 3^rd of July has confirmed the employment of 8 consultants, 27 nurses and 23 medical Doctors.

Some of the medical personnel to be recruited are 4 medical laboratory scientists, 5 scientists, 20 Community Health Extension Workers CHEW including junior staff among many more health officers.

Aluko said some of the medical officers recruited were professional and experienced Dentists to build up the recently time-honored Dental Centre, Also important in the recruitment were 8 consultants among whom 2 were anesthetists.
