SON ADVISED NIGERIANS AGAINST THE USE OF FAKE, SUB-STANDARD GOODS

 


Nigerians have been advised to abscond paying minds to counterfeit and goods.

Nigeria’s organization in charge of standardization of all imported and domestic products, Standard Organization of Nigeria (SON) sounded the warning following the recent increase in sub-standard domestically manufactured and imported products.

Faruk Salim who is the director general in charge of the organization said there is high need on the side of Nigerians to acquire more knowledge about the nature of products they should be condescending to avoid risking their health.

The Organization says it is really dizzy and curious about how some un-patriotic citizens embark on smuggling and manufacture of less-quality products that should be scraped.

According Faruk some Nigerians are lured by the easy access to those kind of product without taking in to cognizance the possible deputations.

He stressed the need to provide to have a working relationship between Standard Organization of Nigeria and all the stakeholders in the making to help curb the menace.
