SIX DIED, SOME INJURED IN A GHASTLY CAR ACCIDENT IN JIGAWA STATE

 

No fewer than six persons died, following a ghastly car accident along Malam Madori road in Jigawa state.

The Public Relations Officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Jigawa State Command, Ibrahim Gambo has confirmed the mortal accident that occurred today Saturday 25^th June .

Apart from the death of 6 persons involved in crash about 4 others were reported to have sustained different injuries,

Ibrahim Gambo added that the commercial Sharon Wagon had its tyre burst while convening ten passengers, adding that two of the injured passengers are currently recuperating in Malam Madori Primary Healthcare Centre, in Jigawa  state.

As at the time of filing this report, the remains of the deceased were taken to the Federal Medical Centre, Yobe state.
