Nigerian Senate has announced adjourning of its sitting pending
July 19 as Sallah vacation.
Ahmad Lawan, the President of the Senate made this known today Wednesday’
29th of July at the plenary session.
The Senate president wishes everyone a joyful and outstanding
Eid-Kabir vacation, adding that while on recess, if there is need for to an emergency sitting, senators should
always be prepared to show up .
He said parliamentarians are like medical doctors to some extent
especially in polity.
Ahmad Lawan urged members of the Senate to make certain that
their constituencies be informed of what transpire in the chamber, expressing
the arduous duties before them.
