OVER 28 SHIPS TO ARRIVE NIGERIAN PORTS WITH IMPORTANT GOODS: NPA

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said 28 ships were estimated to arrive at the Lagos port from today to the 7th of next month.

The ships if arrived  in the port would be off-loading materials such as frozen fish, fertilizer , containers, bulk sugar, butane gas, and soya bean, bulk gypsum, bulk wheat, base oil, bulk salt, bulk urea, automobile gasoline and  butane propane among many other goods that may ease the plights of many Nigerians.

NPA’s daily `Shipping Position’, also assured the arrival of three separate ships containing the petrol and automobile gasoline ships which are currently waiting to come in.

In another development, authorities in the ports said some ships have already started discharging bulk wheat, general cargo, frozen fish, containers, bulk sugar, bulk urea and petrol.

The recent prevalence of this news by Nigeria Ports Authority made a lot of Nigerians to make positive comments about the federal government after giving up on many promises unfulfilled, especially in the areas  of food security and the increased petroleum pump price which affected so many businesses.
