GOV. GANDUJE APPOINTS IBRAHIM GALADIMA AS ACTING KANO PILLARS CHAIRMAN

Ibrahim Galadima replaces Shuaibu Yahaya Jambul as Chairman Kano Pillars Football Club as appointed by Kano state government Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.

Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Malam  Abba Anwar, confirmed the appointment in a statement, saying  it is  part of the usual exercise in sports management.

Until his appointment Ibrahim Galadima was the Chairman of  Kano State Sports Commission in an acting capacity prior to appointing  substantive Chairman.

The disengaged Shuaibu Yahaya Jambul was accused of attacking  an assistant referee during a  match between Pillars and Dakkada FC in the home of Pillars.

The newly appointed club’s chairman solicited for a prayer from the general public to record success through- out his custodianship.

Concerning the incident that saw the sacking of Shu’aibu Jambul from the leadership of the club, Galadima  has  apologized to everyone who might have been  upset by the regrettable event .

Among the biggest challenges that await the newly appointee is rescuing Kano  Pillars from downgrading especially in the NPFL games.
