Authorities in Nigeria have confirmed that the current plunge in
electricity generation comes due to fractional power cut of Oben Gas Plant in
Edo state.
Special Adviser, Media Affairs to the Minister
of Power Mallam Isa Sanusi today Saturday said that the power failure was
to revamp serious gas processing utensils.
He said the incidence regrettably happened at an instance other
power plants and other gas sources undergo
preservation and facility trying.
Isa Sanusi said they are poised to expediting the re-establishment
of standard gas bring in to the precious power plants, appealing to the consumers
on the existing position of supply and guaranteed that efforts were being made for a sustained upgrading
of electricity supply across Nigeria
