Nigerian government has approved the sum
of N964 million to procure educational material across 36 Nigerian states
including the federal capital territory, Abuja on satellite basis.
The project which is centered on
E-learning is expected to cover 3 primary schools in all the states, as approved
by the Federal Executive Council in its usual weekly meeting in Abuja.
The centers are about 109 across Nigeria
and will gulp the sum of N964 million as confirmed by the minister of Information
and Culture, Lai Mohammed.
He said 4,360 people are supposed to
benefit from the e-learning scheme in all the senatorial districts of the
country which will have in possession at least 4,360 android tablets phones and
about 109 solar units in the course of this project.
