The fedral government has designed a program through Nigeria Export Promotion Council in the north eastern Zamfara state with the aim to boost Cotton and Groundnut farming state.
Cotton farming has been the unconventional of the crops being produced having advantageous fertile land for farming of Groundnut and Cotton as the expensive cash crops not only in the state but globally.
The Comptroller of Nigeria Export Promotion Council Zamfara off-shoot Yusuf Ismaila, said the the council would be giving training to the farmers of these delicate farm product in Gusau the state’s capital to support exportation of the product to other parts of the world.
Mr. Ismaila advised the farmers to make first-class use of the chance to progress in their farming activities.
