NIGERIAN STUDENT ISSUED ULTIMATUM TO ASUU TO END PERSISTENT STRIKE


 The South Eastern part of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), , has issued the Federal Government and the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) nine-day ultimatum from 10th of May to open all public universities in the country .

It was last Monday extended its three-month old warning strike by still  another three months and had embarked on a nationwide warning strike on Feb. 14, 2022

The Coordinator of NANS in charge of Zone South-East Moses Onyi issued  the ultimatum  by his  Chief Media Aide in Enugu.

.The motiveincludes  pressing home its demands which take account of revitalization of public universities, earned academic allowances and the deployment of the University Transparency and Accountability Solution for payment of university lecturers.

From May 20 to May 25, 2022; after the expiration of the ultimatum NANS’ branch will take up measures that will see to Nigerian students of the South-East to protest on the south-East major roads.
