Nigeria’s former Vice-president Atiku
Abubakar seek the support of Ogun state’s delegates ahead of May 28 presidential primary of the Peoples
Democratic Party (PDP).
He met with the delegates during his visit to Abeokuta in his
plan to meet with PDP leaders at the state party secretariat.
Atiku is at the fore front among the PDP presidential aspirants in
the 2023 general election.
The former VP though canvassing the votes of the delegates also
tried to convinced them that he is best competent to embody the country proportional
to his understanding of the nation.
He promised to put in to action what he described
as five point agenda if voted for come 2023.
Atiku mentioned the agendas to be security,
economy, unity, education and decentralization of resources and powers to the
federating units.
Secretary of the party in the state Sunday Solarin guaranteed
Atiku of their votes.
