The federal government expelled
the sum of about N5.9 billion in training of youths in Kano state on how to repair smart phones
and gain some other skills.
Minister of Humanitarian
Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development Hajiya Sadiya Umar Farouq,
who was represented by the Special Assistant to the President on Social
Investment, Nasiru Mahmud stated this during the N-Skill Training trainees’
graduation on smart phone repairs on Wednesday in Kano.
The
Minister said the government would
provide the alumnae with tools to set up their businesses.
She said the movement is part of a wide-ranging
campaign of the Federal government to provide job opportunities and wipe out
poverty.
