Bauchi Gov. advocates for state police

 

 


 Bauchi state governor and presidential candidate under the umbrella of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Bala Muhammad has advocated for the establishment of restricted and local police to undertake insecurity bedeviling the nation.

He made this known to newsmen in Akure while speaking to the PDP delegates about his candidacy.

Bala also commended governors of the South-West in their to effort tackle insecurity by coming up with  Amotekun corps.

He said we really stand in need of local police  to be able to thrash insecurity in this country and decentralize the central authority.

Governor Muhammad said the country needs to have  state and local governments that are more stronger for progress.

He said the current insecurity shows incompetence of Nigerian authorities in so many respects, promising to carry all along if elected as president.
