2023: Fed. min. of Agriculture distributed Veterinary utensils to states off-shoots.

 

The 36 states’ Nigerian ministries of Agriculture have already began benefitting from the Federal Government purchased veterinary utensils, laboratory reagents and handful of gadgets.

Apart from state Ministries of Agriculture, also benefitted are the Veterinary Teaching Hospitals and Research Institutes across the country.

The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Dr Muhammad Abubakar who was represented by the Director, Federal Department of Veterinary and Pest Control Services Officer, said the gesture was to augment proficient diagnosis of animal health service delivery to livestock farmers in the Nigeria.

He said part of the ministry’s authorization was to ensure the production of vigorous foods of both crop and animal as well as  prevention and control of animal for enhanced livestock fabrication and productivity.

The tools, he said were procured through special intervention fund by the federal government.
